वृत्तिसारूप्यमितरत्र

vṛttisārūpyamitaratra

vr̥tti = vortex
sārūpyam = identity
itaratra = otherwise 

Otherwise, your identity is the vortex.

We are tiny particles of divine consciousness and it is through our individual consciousness that the loving awareness of the universe observes itself. But, there’s a paradox in this. To observe itself, divine consciousness has given us myriad ways to experience its creation. The constant rush can be overwhelming and the residue of everything we’ve lived through can prevent us from knowing the peace, joy and wisdom that are ours when we feel we are one with God. When we stop identifying with our mental vortexes, we inhabit our true nature, our inherent and eternal oneness with divine consciousness. Until we unyoke our identity from our mental vortexes, they remain who we think we are and we’re out of touch with who we really are.
