Observe your mental vortexes, problematic or unproblematic, as of five kinds…
To your ego, some of your mental vortexes are problematic, others are not. They’re unproblematic if you’re content. They’re problematic if you’re bothered.
From the perspective of the practice of yoga, whether they’re problematic or not depends on if they keep you bound to your ego identity or whether they help you understand the truth of your oneness with the Loving Awareness that is the source of all that is and the energy that animates and organizes the universe.
You can shift from the myopic vision of the atomic ego to the omniscience of the infinite universe—through the power of Consciousness.
You’ve probably already noticed it in your field of awareness. René Descartes said, “I think, therefore I am.” How did he know he was thinking? Consciousness.
From the perspective of Consciousness, the ultimate cause of all your mental vortexes, they are neither problematic nor unproblematic, but simply of five kinds…
